Exodus 20:8-11  “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. You shall labor six days, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.

Commentary

My thoughts about it: Appreciate the importance of ceasing activity and taking time to rest. You can not do it all, all of the time. The operative faculties are Renunciation, Strength and Faith.  We could, perhaps, should apply all of our faculties to all of Prosperity’s Affirmations. So the selection of operative faculties is almost arbitrary, however there are certain faculties that are particularly evident in each affirmation.  In this case rest and surrender are key ideas in living this affirmation.  We want to release our need to be in constant activity as well as to let go of every thought, habit and circumstance that inhibits our experience of prosperity.  More importantly we must let go of our activity and allow God’s activity to complete the creation process.

Practical Exercises  Choose one or more of the processes from Ask and It Is Given:   Process #20 “Turning It Over to the Manager”  Repeat the affirmation, “I surrender to the Presence and Power of God within me” at least 100 times per day

Prosperity’s 3rd Affirmation

You shall not speak the word of lack or limitation.
Mosaic Commandment
Exodus 20:7 “You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”
Commentary
The Power Center is in the throat in the area of the larynx. There is power in every word I speak. Therefore, my intention is to speak the most beneficial words which come to my mind.  When my words are born of the Truth of Spirit they are creative. Jesus spoke the creative word in John 11:43 when He called Lazarus forth from the grave.  We have the power to control our thoughts and feelings through the activity of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I call upon the Holy Spirit to inspire me to speak prospering words, which affirm an abundant life.  My words are gifts to all who are affected(1) by them.  My words are intentional, I do not speak carelessly.  My words express gratitude. I am always able to find something to appreciate, regardless of my apparent circumstances.  My words are forgiving. I erase the effects of error thinking in myself or others by practicing and speaking forgiveness.  I speak words of surrender to the power and presence of God within me.  My words reflect my generosity.  I give praise to God and the evidence of God’s presence in others. I eagerly acknowledge God in all of my successes.  I always remember that it is God who has given me the power to get wealth and to be successful in all that I undertake (see Deuteronomy 8:18). 
Vibrational Alignment
1. Use Process # 11 “Segment Intending” from Ask and It Is Given
2. Make a recording of your favorite prosperity affirmations. Record at least 12 affirmations and listen to them for 1 week.  Then make another recording and listen to that for 1 week. You may repeat affirmations from week to week but always add at least one new one.

 (1) Our words affect those who hear or read them directly but they also affect many more people who are impacted by those who hear our words directly. You can not overestimate the power of your words to do good or ill.
