Comparing Prosperity Affirmation #3 and #9
Prosperity’s 3rd Affirmation: I Only Speak Words that Affirm Prosperity, Abundance and Wealth.
The Third Mosaic Commandment: Exodus 20:7 “You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”
I am in integrity with God’s nature of abundance; I express ideas of abundance, opportunity, possibility and prosperity. I speak of God’s nature in Truth and with power; my words affirm sufficiency, abundance and prosperity and I experience prosperity in my circumstances and affairs.
Prosperity’s 9th Affirmation: I Honor, Glorify and Give Witness to the Truth about the Source of My Wealth.
The 9th Mosaic Commandment: Exodus 20:16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor”.
I am an advocate of God’s sufficiency and generosity; I honor, glorify and joyfully give witness to the accessibility of the Source of my wealth; I affirm prospering possibilities for myself and everyone I meet; we have access to plenty for sharing and giving.
Let’s take some time today to contemplate Prosperity’s 3rd and 9th Affirmations. The 3rd affirmation concerns our speaking in relation to God as our only Source of wealth and supply and the 9th affirmation concerns our speaking in relation to other people. Is it clear that it would be inconsistent for us to affirm our own prosperity and deny it in others by pronouncing them poor or deprived? Does that mean that we should not assist people who have needs? My belief is that we do what we are guided to do in service to others. However as we do so we treat them with dignity and focus on their capacity to prosper.
Today, hold the essence of Prosperity’s 3rd Affirmation in your heart as you give voice to God’s All-Sufficiency and see friends, family and strangers alike, capable of prospering and having access to the prosperity the Lord has promised to all of us. Aren’t we all part of each other’s prosperity?
