Prayers for Enoch and Dorothy
Jun 21st, 2007 by Dianne
Enoch and Dorothy are two indviduals on our prayer list as EM and DH. Here is some information about their progress:
Good Morning!
James and I went to see Enoch yesterday at Karmanos Hospice – he is full of joy and ready to take his next step on his journey through eternal life. Last Saturday, I told Rev. G about my vision of Enoch with a Bible in his hand, walking out of the body and stopping briefly to turn around, smile and wave. When we got there, Enoch’s only concern was that his children had not brought one of his many Bibles from his apartment. I requested the chaplan and asked that Enoch be given a Bible, which was cheerfully delivered to him. While we were waiting, James put his Bible on the bed and Enoch placed his left hand on it – just like the first part of my vision. Enoch talked about the meaning of his name and how much he has always loved God. One of his nurses came in and she said she prays on her knees, twice a day and all during the day while she is working. That was joy to Enoch’s heart. We laughed and prayed and left him praising God. His plan is to do Hospice at home in a few days.
Dorothy Hawkins is in Westwood nursing home and according to Vivian (who spoke with her daughter) Dot is doing well and taking therapy. She, too, will be doing home care in the near future. I will stop by and visit her either tonight or tomorrow.
All is well and God is still good.
Love,
Dianne
