Wilma’s Praise and Progress Report
Nov 19th, 2007 by Wilma
We went for the procedure Wednesday. They kept her. They performed emergency surgery on Friday (twice). They had to insert a balloon to prevent a massive heart attack at 5:30 AM Friday. They performed the triple bypass at 1:30 the same day. It took 6 hours. The doctor said he had never seen plaque build up inside the heart before. That added an additional hour to the process.
She is recovering, awake, and recognizes everyone. She is still on the ventilator (the balloon has to be removed first) then they wean her off of the vent. The doctor is so proud! She looks awful to me, but they (ICU staff) keep telling us that this is normal. She should be up and moving around within a few days and in her own room.
Thank you all for the continued prayer support.
* The plaque got into the heart because she took chelation therapy. That does melt plaque but the wholistic practitioner did not complete the process! It melted like wax and resolidified in the most deadly position imaginable.
