I Surrender My Decisions to God

and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; – Isa 11:3
How do you make decisions? Do you favor the disciplined process of analysis? Are you more inclined to search your feelings and follow your intuition? Perhaps you make decisions by using a combination of reason, analysis and intuition. As Spiritual Beings having human experiences, it seems appropriate to employ the gifts of Spirit and the faculties of Mind to decide wisely or judge righteously. When we decide or choose wrongly, we often experience consequences that are at the least unpleasant and sometimes may be harmful to ourselves or others. It is in these cases that we learn through the stern teachings of experience. However, as we grow in experience and wisdom our choices and decisions can become works of art, elegant demonstrations of all things working together for Good. We develop this level of decision making by engaging the best of our humanness in support of the expression of our spiritual nature. After all of your best thinking and analysis, practice trusting and surrendering to the presence, power and peace of Christ within you as the key to your decision making process.
Let Us Pray:
“Thank You God for righteous judgment. As I go through this day Lord, bless me with peace and transcendent understanding. Make me an instrument of Your Wisdom. Give me the power of active listening so that I can hear You speaking in between the words of the people who interact with me. Bless me with a peaceful presence so that I may speak with love and respect and quiet my human impatience and restlessness so that I can hear Your guidance and make the decisions and choices which accomplish the highest Good for all concerned. Thank You God! I Understand! I am Complete! Amen!”
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7
