Around Memorial Day we offer prayers in honor of those who have left this mortal existence and now live in the non-material realms of Mind and Spirit.

Thank You God for comforting us as we move through the grief of loss. Thank You God for the experience of knowing the physical incarnation of the soul for whom we now pray. Though we may not completely understand the mysteries of birth and death, we do feel Your presence as we remember our loved ones. Dear Lord, You have removed the sting of death from our heart as You gave peace to our loved ones. We cry praises for Your loving wisdom and infinite peace. We accept Your peace and release the need for mere understanding. For now, we are as children in Your presence and we accept the embrace of Your comforting love. Thank You God! You bless us beyond measure and strengthen us, through Christ, to bless those around us who are still in pain. Though we may be walking through the valley, in the shadow of death, You have blessed us with the courage to follow You to the high ground of Your glory.
