Father, thank You for another New Year! I thank You for this month of beginnings; guide me into Your Vision of what is possible in my life this year. I release the baggage of 2011, turn my face to 2012 and direct my attention to this Holy Moment of prayer. I immerse myself in the eternity of this moment in which I join with You Lord to think the thoughts that shape my life. I focus my attention on Your Promises, such as, “With You all things are possible”, “You give wisdom and from your mouth comes understanding and knowledge”; “Blessed are the peacemakers” and “Blessed are the merciful”. May Your Word and Your Love fill my heart and inform my mind in the eternal moment all year long. Dear Lord, this year, let there be peace on earth and let it begin in my body, let it be in my mind ordering my thoughts, let it be in my heart shaping my words and let it be in me, making me an instrument of Your healing peace for everyone within my sphere of influence.

Let Us Pray:

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us unconditionally and blessing us right where we are in this holy moment. Thank You for giving us all that we can accept right now. Lord we are grateful that You expand our capacity to accept Your Love and Your Gifts as we open ourselves to giving our love and our gifts. Father, I thank You for giving me avenues, organizations, opportunities and people who appreciate and accept my gifts; today Lord, I am learning that giving and receiving are the same energy and through my giving I receive. I am grateful that I always have something to give, starting with my thanks. Thank You dear Lord for elevating me from the lower frequencies of form-based gratitude, contingent on what I have, to the higher frequencies of gratitude that are anchored in energies of Being. Lord anchor my Gratitude in being free to choose, anchor it in my being able to experience awe and wonder, anchor it in my being capable of connecting with others, anchor it in my joy of making a positive difference and most of all anchor it in Your beneficent activity in my life.

Dear Lord, throughout this month we turn our attention to gratitude and appreciation. We give thanks for all of Your blessings and activities within and around us. Thank You God for excellent health and a whole and resilient body, thank You for shelter, clothing and all of the necessities of life; we thank You for our beautiful home in Space, our planet earth with its life sustaining gifts of food, water, air and every physical thing we need and want. We praise You Father, for the perfection of Your creation. We are awed by the precise balance of planetary and celestial bodies. At every level of our observation and thoughtful consideration, we experience appreciation, wonder, curiosity and a yearning to know You more intimately. We appreciate Your guiding us to a new understanding of the infinitesimal and the infinite and the revelations of Your mysteries which expand our wonder and allow us to experience Life more abundantly. Dear Lord, allow our wonder and appreciation of Your mysteries of existence to translate into our ways of being and acting in our daily activities of living and relating to others. Thank You God for all that You have given us and for all that You continue to give us. Primarily Father, we are eternally grateful for Your growing us in the consciousness of our Oneness with You.

Dear Lord,

In the past I have been so much like the young man in Matthew 19:22, filled with pride, material possessions and a misplaced faith in things and form. However, today Lord, I choose to follow you. I commit to following Your teachings and to following You this day. Where You lead, I follow. Today I am re-thinking and re-evaluating my values, plans and dreams. I ask You to consecrate all that I am and all that I do to be in Your service. I realize that my true treasure is in Heaven and that in order to enjoy my material resources, I dedicate them to Your service as well. Let there Peace in my home where all who enter may feel Your presence. Thank You for comfortable and reliable transportation that takes me and others to our Divine appointments. Consecrate my money through tithes and offerings in support of the work that blesses people and promotes the expansion of Your Kingdom coming in our minds, in our hearts and in our physical reality.  Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light and I am finding my joy and fulfillment in my life with You Lord. Thank You for Your Grace and sweet shower of blessings.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."  – Matthew 19:26

I once heard a minister talk about a sermon she heard from a Scottish minister who had a view of God as a shepherd and having a couple of sheepdogs: Goodness and Mercy.   I don’t know about your life, but in mine those two dogs have been very busy.   Those two sheepdogs I think of together as God’s Grace, the unmerited good of God.   I think of all the times I have done something STOOPID in traffic and didn’t get hit or in relationships and was forgiven.   I think of the times when I was low and God sent someone into my life to lift me up or point out to me that things weren’t that bad or that I wasn’t the bad.   They may have even had other motives but as Joseph said, you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.   I was thinking of one particular low point in my life when I was just coming out of the worst bout of depression in my life, and was feeling worthless, I had a visit by these two sheepdogs in the form of a woman who wrapped herself around me and made me feel like a worthwhile human being.   God’s grace takes many forms, be open to them and welcome them all.   We serve an awesome God and Her blessings are legion.

Father-Mother God,

Thank you for my life.   Thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed on me.   Your Grace is an endless tsunami of blessings, carrying me to greater and greater good.   You constantly teach me gratitude, You constantly teach me love, You constantly teach me forgiveness.   You constantly forgive me for being such a slow learner.  Thank You for Your sheepdogs, they are constantly herding me in the right direction, along Your path.   On my own I would not get anywhere near the ultimate goal, it would be impossible, but with Your guidance it is a certainty that I will arrive.   Thank You God!!!

Thank You for this day Lord! I rejoice in the consciousness of Your Presence today. Throughout the day I intend to be conscious of Your Presence within me and around me. I mentally examine my body and feel your Presence in expression in my cells, tissues and organs. As I become more aware of my body, I feel Your activity. I am strengthened and invigorated by Your Life-Giving Presence. As I still my body, I quiet my thinking and become aware of Your Presence in my mind. Today, I resolve to only think Your thoughts. I cast off all thoughts that are not of You Lord. I savor and nurture Your thoughts and think them as mine. I live this day conscious of Your Presence within me and within everyone I meet or think about.

Let’s Pray:
Thank You God for making Yourself known to me. I choose to live in the consciousness that I am made in Your Image and Likeness. I choose to conduct myself as Your offspring. If I stumble or fall today, Lord, I know that You will lovingly pick me up and help me steady myself to continue my walk with You today. I fear no evil because I know that You are with me and I accomplish everything that is mine to do because it is You who does the work. Thank You God for hearing my prayer and making Yourself known.

This month let’s choose to see beauty and the possibility of beauty wherever we look. Let us first seek the Kingdom of God within ourselves and through seeking within, we will find the Presence of God illuminating the beautiful being we were born to be. God gives us the power and the ability to see beauty wherever we look and if it is not visible to the outer eye, God opens our inner eyes to visions of beauty waiting to be brought into manifestation by the work of our hands or the power of our word. The beauty of the Lord is upon us and all around us. Each day this month let your light shine brightly so that others may see the beauty within and around them.

Dear God, I open myself completely and surrender my all to You. I relax my body, I calm the restless activity of my mind. I reflect upon Your Beauty in Nature and I commune with You in the Beauty of Pure Being. In this consciousness I see clearly with the eyes of Spirit. All that I envision reflects the beauty of Your Presence Lord. I choose to allow Your Beauty to radiate from me and become a beacon that reveals the Beauty of Your Presence in manifestation or imminent possibility. Thank You God for giving me the power to see the beauty in myself, and to create beauty with my hands and to create beauty with my words. I now give thanks for the promises of God and I set the intention to follow the teachings and example of Jesus as I go through this month bringing to light the beauty of God’s Loving Presence.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good… – Genesis 1:31

Thank You God for all of the blessings of this month. Let us know Love in more of its aspects than we have experienced before. Open our hearts and minds to the energy and power of Love. If You are Love, then we are Children of Love and we accept our legacy of Love today, in this holy moment. We release all of our mistaken ideas that would keep us from Love’s experience in its purity and authenticity. Deliver us from the limitations and suffering caused by possessiveness mistaken for Love. Lift us above the cruelties and indifference masquerading as tough love. Let us be strong and firm in Love but never let us lose our compassion or our sense of connection to others or our desire for another’s well being. Dear Lord, let us consciously and even unconsciously be Your Instruments of Love always expressing Love in our intentions, our thoughts, our words and our actions.

Our Father, Alpha and Omega, Principle of beginnings and endings, we recognize our innate ability to complete the traverse of one rung of Your Cosmic Spiral and begin a new phase in our upward journey in consciousness. Father, allow Your Holy Spirit fill us with Wisdom and Energy and give us Your Map for our journey through 2011. This month we focus our attention on beginning anew, empowered by our successes and failures of the past year and our more mature willingness to follow Your Divine Guidance this year. We thank You for a deeply healing, renewing and creative intimacy with You. We thank You for blessing us with new possibilities of robust health and lavish abundance. Let us create, with Your guidance, vibrant relationships, healing, prospering and supportive alliances which serve the coming of Your Kingdom and bless us with the power of our Oneness in You and our interdependence with all humanity. Let each of us play our essential role and give from our unique gifts in the creation of a world that works for everyone.

Today let’s give thanks, and praise God from Whom all blessings flow! We thank God for the abundance that is at hand and available to everyone through Grace. The exercise of gratitude is the perfect prescription for joy and other feelings of well being. Starting today, and for the next several weeks, make a list of at least 5 people, things, experiences or circumstances for which you are thankful. Each day include appreciation for a least one gift from Spirit, such as the awe you may feel when gazing into the heavens on a clear night or the peace you may experience in meditation. Everyday express gratitude for both non-material and material gifts! Carry out this practice until it becomes a habit and I trust that you will find that this is a practice you will not want to stop.

Let us pray:

“Dear Lord, thank You for giving me a spirit of gratitude. I am grateful for our relationship in Spirit. I am grateful for Your every gift, material and non-material. I am grateful for my expanding sense of Being and my growing capacities of love and appreciation. Thank You for the resources to take care of all of my needs: food, shelter, clothing, loving companionship and opportunities to make a difference in the world. Dear Lord, my joy is overflowing as I appreciate all the beauty and bounty of Your Universe. Thank You God for my awareness of the Good that is in every person I meet. I am filled with awe and wonder as I contemplate Your greatness. Thank You Father for the desires of my heart, which bring me into more conscious and intimate relationship with You. I Thank You for giving me the example of Jesus as my Role Model for the expression of gratitude and appreciation.
