Father, thank You for another New Year! I thank You for this month of beginnings; guide me into Your Vision of what is possible in my life this year. I release the baggage of 2011, turn my face to 2012 and direct my attention to this Holy Moment of prayer. I immerse myself in the eternity of this moment in which I join with You Lord to think the thoughts that shape my life. I focus my attention on Your Promises, such as, “With You all things are possible”, “You give wisdom and from your mouth comes understanding and knowledge”; “Blessed are the peacemakers” and “Blessed are the merciful”. May Your Word and Your Love fill my heart and inform my mind in the eternal moment all year long. Dear Lord, this year, let there be peace on earth and let it begin in my body, let it be in my mind ordering my thoughts, let it be in my heart shaping my words and let it be in me, making me an instrument of Your healing peace for everyone within my sphere of influence.

Today is a good day to practice holding a sacred space into which the Holy Spirit can pour Itself. A Spirit filled space is a space in which healing takes place. It is a space in which Love abounds and prospering ideas are born. On this day let’s create a space, starting within ourselves, that is sacred, by inviting the Holy Spirit to take up residence in our heart and to remove all of our fears, prejudices, illusions, misconceptions, misperceptions, limitations and other barriers that cause us to believe that we are separated from God.
Let Us Pray:
Dear Father-Mother God, Sweet Holy Spirit, I thank You for allowing me the awareness of Your perpetual listening and Your continuing response to my thoughts and prayers. In this holy moment I release and I let go of everything that impedes Spirit’s activity in my thinking and in my life. Lord, through release I am free. I am free of the bondage of worldly thinking and I am free to be the individual God created me to be. Let me be an instrument of Your Love and Your Peace. I listen with Love and I speak respectfully using words which promote peace. Let the Spiritual Space within me overflow into the physical space that surrounds me.

Create a clean heart in me Oh God and renew a steadfast Spirit within me. – Psalms 51:10

When I was in college, in the peculiar lexicon of that University, when life’s burdens were piling up on you in an urgent manner, you were said to be “On Fire!” The advice that you are given if you find yourself “On Fire!” is to stop, drop and roll.

Recently I found that life’s burdens were piling up on me, I said to myself, “I’m On Fire!”, then I said I need to stop, drop, and pray.  Stop – create some quiet in my mind, Drop – go inside and place my attention on my heart center, and Pray – connect with the presence of God. When I did that I
had a miraculous day, I was able to handle many of my most urgent tasks and delay the others, a very good outcome.

Father – Mother God,
I turn to the Power that was able to calm the storm with a word to calm the storm in my mind. I say, “Peace, be still!” and the stormy seas in my mind become a placid lake. I can now concentrate my thought on lowering my attention from my head to my heart. I am now resting in the lap of God. Your yoke is easy, Your burden is light and no problem cannot be solved with Your Power, no situation can’t be resolved within Your Presence. All is well and my soul is at peace.

Charles Fillmore offers deep insight into the metaphysics of Jesus’ crucifixion in Keep A True Lent, “The word crucifixion means the crossing out in consciousness of certain errors that have become fixed states of mind; it is the enactment by a master of the final extinction of carnal mind, the giving up of the whole personality in order that the Christ Mind may be expressed in all fullness”. Our salvation is in our understanding and knowing that our limitations, mistakes and human frailties can be crossed out or eliminated by Jesus’ demonstration of ultimate surrender to the Truth of our Being, which is God. We can solve our life’s problems and eliminate our error thoughts by embodying the process represented by the three days Jesus was in the tomb. 1) Non-Resistance or surrender to the Divine, 2)Identifying with the Divine operation within, 3)Take on the expression of Divine Will as a way of being.

Let Us Pray:
Father, we thank You today for Jesus’ demonstration of who we can be; as we endeavor to put on the Mind of Christ we know that You are always with us. Thank You for reminding us, by any means necessary, that whenever we turn to You in consciousness, all things are possible for us. You are our path to victory in every adversity, You are our Resource whenever we bless or pray for another and You are the One who lifts us off the crosses of own limitations and sets us free in the consciousness of Your perfection. We are free in Christ Jesus.

What will you cross out of your life today?

Today, let’s look for the best in everyone we encounter or about whom we think. In this holy moment, let’s create the intention to enter every interaction with another person today, centered in the wisdom and presence of Christ. As we go forward from this point in time, let us be open and receptive to the guidance and urging of Christ within us and to be receptive to the presence and expression of Christ within another. Listen to everyone you encounter with your inner ears, responding to another’s clear or clumsy request for love. Speak to everyone with respect, sensitive to the connective presence of Christ within both of you. In this way you are allowing God to bless everyone you meet, enrich your relationships and prosper all of your personal, business and social interactions.

Let Us Pray:
Dear Lord, I thank You for the peace of this day. I appreciate today’s encounters; I am enriched and blessed by each one. This is a glorious day and I rejoice in it. Father, show me the Christ in everyone I meet or think about today. Allow me to discern some redeeming value or characteristic in every person who crosses my mind or crosses my path today. Ordinarily I see You so clearly in some people and I forget to even look for You in others. However, today, I am ready to give that up and I am willing to behold Christ in everyone, including those who do not recognize Christ in themselves or anyone else. Shine Your Light of Understanding on my ignorance and Your Light of Love on my intolerance and misjudgment. You are active within me as the Power to listen with love and speak with respect. Let my understanding of others be more than sufficient for the positive outcome of every encounter and let the wisdom of my speaking be a blessing beyond my current understanding. Thank You for guiding me to greater levels of compassion, awareness and wisdom. I perceive Your presence in others, just as I am aware of Your presence within myself. I now realize Father, that You inspire us all in similar yet diverse ways. You guide each of us along our unique paths of service and contribution. Reveal Yourself in others to me today so that I can know others as You know me.

Thank You God for this day of new possibilities. Today, let us choose to see possibility, instead of despair, beauty instead of dreariness and opportunity instead of hopelessness. First, be still and seek the Kingdom of God within yourself. In seeking you will find the Presence of God illuminating the creative being that you are. God gives us the power and the ability to see and to create through faith and vision. When you look and only see distasteful appearances with your outer eye, open your inner eye to see visions of beauty, prosperity and harmony waiting to be brought into manifestation by the work of your hands and the power of your word. The power of the Lord is within us and the activity of the Holy Spirit is all around us. Today, look through the eyes of Divinity and see possibility; act with faith in the wisdom and strength of Christ through whom all things are possible.Let Us Pray:Dear God, Sweet Holy Spirit, I open myself completely and surrender my vision and actions to You. I relax my body, I calm the activity of my mind and in this holy moment, I commune with You in the Infinite Possibility of Pure Being. In this consciousness I see clearly with the eyes of Spirit. All that I envision reflects the beauty and possibilities of Your Presence active within me Lord. I choose to allow Your Vision to radiate from me and become a beacon that reveals the Possibility of Your Presence in manifestation. Thank You God for giving me the power to see new possibilities within myself, and to join with my brothers and sisters as we create powerful possibilities of renewal, regeneration and innovation. Bless our hands with purposeful and creative activity. Bless our speaking with cooperation and unity, as we join together with You in the creation of a world which works for everyone. Thank You God, make me an instrument of Your holy purpose, following the teachings of Jesus the Christ. Today I go forth with the intention to change despair into hope, transform hope into possibility and within the holy space of possibility create peace, prosperity and fulfillment.

Thank You God for this day. I am so grateful that I have awakened happy, inspired and filled with Your rich ideas, energy and wisdom. Thank You God for Your perfect Peace. Thank You God for giving me the rest I need when I need it; I thank You for the energy and stimulation to right action when I need it. I Thank You God for giving me a sense of Higher Purpose. I am blessed and from my consciousness of being blessed I become a blessing as Your perfect instrument of Love, Peace, Prosperity and Forgiveness, I am so grateful. Thank You for this time with You in a new way of prayer for me. Every time I choose to take time with You, Lord I am so richly blessed that I what to share Your blessings and inspiration with my all of my soul mates, the entire human race. Dear Lord, everyday, remind me, using whatever means necessary to take time with You. Father, I thank You for blessing me and everyone in my sphere of influence. Thank You for blessing all of my clients, potential and future. Father today, bless everyone who has ever taken one of my classes, heard me speak, read one of my articles or has, in anyway been influenced by me. Let them see new possibilities today, grant them their heart’s desire and give them the peace of mind that surpasses all human thought and understanding. Thank You God for giving me a glimpse of my positive impact on the world. I am blessed, I am whole, I am complete and I am Yours.
